Sometimes your browser or device may not work as expected. It’s easy to assume the issue lies with the website or product—but in many cases, it's due to something local on your end.
That’s why we’ve put together this article—to help you troubleshoot common browser and device problems. These steps solve the issue 99% of the time and should always be your first go-to before reaching out to support.

1️⃣ Clear Your Browser History & Cache
In Google Chrome:

Click the three-dot menu (top right) > Settings.
-
Go to Privacy and Security > Clear browsing data.

Select Browsing History, Cookies, and Cached images/files.

Choose a time range: start with “Last hour.” If issues persist, try “All time.”

Click Clear data.
⚠️ Important: This will sign you out of websites and remove saved preferences.
2️⃣ Make Sure JavaScript is Enabled

In Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site Settings.

Scroll to the Content section.

Click JavaScript.
-
Make sure “Sites can use JavaScript” is enabled.
3️⃣ Use Google Dev Tools to Identify Issues

To access Dev Tools:

Right-click anywhere on the page > Inspect

Go to the Network tab

Click the red record button if it's not already red

Check Preserve log

Reproduce the issue

4️⃣ Review Your Browser Extensions
Extensions can interfere with website functionality.
To review/remove extensions:

Click the puzzle icon (top right of Chrome).

Click Manage Extensions.

Disable or remove any suspicious or unknown extensions.
5️⃣ Check If a Website is Down for Everyone or Just You
Visit:

This handy site can tell you whether the website is having global issues or it’s just your connection.
6️⃣ Try a Private (Incognito) Window
Sometimes cached data or extensions interfere with site performance.
To test:

Open Chrome > Click three-dot menu > New Incognito Window

Visit the website again
If it works in Incognito, it’s likely a cache or extension issue.
7️⃣ Restart Your Device
Simple but effective. Restarting can fix a wide range of issues.

Go to your device’s power settings

Choose Restart or Restart and Update (if updates are pending)

Once restarted, try accessing the website again
8️⃣ Use Google Chrome as Your Default Browser
For macOS:

Open Chrome

Click the three-dot menu > Settings
-
Under “Default browser,” click Make default
For Windows 11:

Open Settings > Apps > Default Apps

Search for Chrome
-
Click Set Default
For Windows 10:

Open Settings > System > Default Apps

Under Web Browser, select Google Chrome
