If you're a frequent shopper like us, the ⭐ icon was designed with you in mind! By the end of this article, you'll be seeing stars 🤩 from anticipation of all of your upcoming shopping trips (digitally, on your iPad of course).
What are the star icons?
The star icon appears on both PLP (product listing pages) and PDP (product display/detail pages) for a sales rep on the iPad once the rep completes a purchase of that item. The star icon is a great way to help reps re-purchase frequently purchased items more easily.
Take a look at the brief video below of a purchase to see the ⭐ icon in action. Click play.
Why don't I see star icons?
Star icons only appear from Client / Customer page once the product has been previously ordered.
What's the difference between the star icon, a bookmark, and tags?
The star icon ⭐ is local to a single rep. Meaning that a WebManager cannot set up a star icon to appear for an item. The icon organically appears when a rep makes a purchase of that item. For example, Sarah from New Mexico frequently orders the same pair of shoes every month because her customers can't keep them on the shelves. Once Sarah makes a purchase, the star icon will appear for her on the app. John in New York City, however, has never purchased the shoes because his customers prefer a different style—the star icon will not appear for John just because Sarah purchased the shoes.
A bookmark is also local to a single rep. The bookmark is typically used when a rep wants to email a customer a tear sheet. Bookmarks can be removed/added at any time. Learn more about Adding Bookmarks to Client Accounts here.
Tags are a great alternative for a brand when needing to strategically market a specific product or group of products, showcase best or hot sellers, or move through last call or sale product. Tags are created by the WebManager and appear both on the RepZio app and B2B Direct platforms. WebManagers may manage, arrange, delete and/or edit tags in WebManager > Products.
- Tags will appear on RepZio on the Home screen once a rep logs into your brand's page.
- Tags will appear on the top navigation bar of B2B Direct (requires additional action to set up).
