RepZio will automatically sync upon logging into the app and connected to wifi to make updates to applicable data. If after a normal sync, data still appears to be off, you may simply need to log out + in to re-sync. If after a re-sync has occurred and the correct data is not being shown in the app, then a refresh data may be needed.
Should I re-sync or refresh data? Re-syncing requires a simple log out + in. Refresh data will take longer and will re-pull all information from the cloud.
Sync Data
RepZio users should be connected to a strong, stable wifi connection to sync. If data appears incorrect in the app, such as duplicate categories or items, missing customers or duplicate customers, incorrect pricing on items—this is likely due to a poor connection or a blip in the internet service.
Actions
Logout of the app by tapping 'Logout' located in the upper left corner of the app.
- On the login screen (where you enter your email address and password), tap 'Logout' again.
- Enter your email address and password and tap 'Login'
- Once you tap login, you should see the brands begin to sync and should see a 'Last sync' date and time stamp. After the sync has completed, tap to open any brand and allow the app a few moments to populate.
Refresh Data
Refresh data wipes all data for the manufacturer in the app and then re-syncs by pulling all data from the cloud. Refresh data should only be used when on strong, stable wifi connection and is not ideal to be performed daily.
Actions
- Confirm internet connectivity by opening a Chrome or Safari browser and confirming you can browse to at least multiple websites without issue.
- On the brand's home page, tap the gear symbol in the upper right corner of the app.
- On the settings screen, tap the 'Refresh' button within the 'Refresh Data' box.
- Tap 'Yes' to confirm that you want to complete a refresh data for the manufacturer. The app will take you back to the login screen where you can tap the double arrow login button .
- Once the app has performed a re-sync, you can carry on as you normally would.
