Images are an important feature when selling products and can build customer trust and improve your customer's experience.
If an image that you have uploaded into the system does not appear, there are a few things to check:
File Format
- Use .jpg file format images ONLY unless another format is noted in the system
- Files saved as .gif, .psd, .png, .jpeg, and even .JPG in all Caps will not work when uploaded
- Make sure to only use .jpg in all lowercase letters
- DO NOT use special characters or spaces
- Product images will automatically be resized up to 2048 x 2048 px if smaller. Images larger will not be sized down, so the maximum image size for products should be 2048 x 2048 px
Photo Name
- If a name other than that of the ItemID is used to name an image, make sure to note the image name in the PhotoName Column for that product.
- DO NOT use special characters or spaces
If you have exhausted all of the options above, double check that their are no extra spaces between or after words in both the admin portal and the image file.
Need to update a photo for an existing item with a photo? Name the image file the same as the name of the existing image.
