FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)
Q. Is the template required?
A. No, it is not mandatory to use the template to upload products. However, we strongly advise using our product template for an enhanced user experience. If you choose not to utilize the "ImportProductTemplate," the system will prompt you to map the columns from your spreadsheet to the columns in our system. Alternatively, you can manually create new products within WebManager by accessing the "Products Quick Edit" section.
Q. Where can I download the most current templates?
A. To download the most current versions of our templates via WebManager > Manage Data > Download Data Templates.
Q. Where do I download my product file?
A. To upload your product file, head to WebManager > Manage Data > Upload Data Sheets > Products.
Q. Products have been uploaded/updated but they are not visible?
A. New products or updates to your existing products will not be visible until the changes have been pushed live. Once you upload your file, ensure you click on "My Data Looks Good" and wait for the pop-up "Import File Ready" to appear. When the pop-up message appears, the "Push Data Live" button should also become illuminated indicating the data is ready to be pushed live.
Q. Why am I getting a 'Row not imported' error message upon uploading?
A. The most common error message received upon uploading is 'row not imported". The error message may be happening because the system recognizes data in a row or column of your spreadsheet that you might not be able to see. To resolve, review your upload to ensure columns have no formatting (such as hidden columns or rows, conditional formatting or color coding, formulas, or blank columns for a required field, e.g. ItemID). If the issue persists, copy/paste the values from your spreadsheet into a fresh, clean template.
Q. Why am I getting a 'An error occurred while trying to map the file' error message upon uploading?
A. First, ensure you are selecting the correct file type from the dropdown menu within WebManager. If you encounter this message and have selected the proper file type, simply refresh your page and the file preview should show or click on Dashboard and try re-uploading the data file.
Q. Where do I download the most current templates available?
A. Head over to WebManager > Manage Data > Download Data Templates to download the most up-to-date templates available.
