Enable auto-pay to ensure your invoices are paid automatically—no more missed payments! Follow the steps below to set up auto-pay in your FreshBooks account.
Setup Auto-Pay
Follow the steps below to setup auto-pay.
Step 1
Find the invoice email and click the View Invoice button
Step 2
Under the Recurring Payment section, keep the toggle on to have future recurring invoices paid automatically
🔹 Note: ShopZio transaction fees, which are calculated as a percentage of sales and billing monthly arrears are not eligible for autopay.
Step 3
Select a credit card, bank transfer (ACH), or PayPal account, depending on the options available on your invoice
Step 4
Fill in the required payment information
Step 5
For credit cards or bank transfers (ACH), check the box next to:
✅ Save this credit card to an account with [Company Name]
✅ Remember this bank account for future invoices from [Company Name]
Step 6
Click Pay $XXX.XX to process your payment
Step 7
A confirmation page will appear, and your payment will begin processing
