📎 Send Files Guide

A Send File is any document, spreadsheet, or piece of content that your sales reps can email to clients. Common examples include:

• 💰 Price lists

• 🧾 “About Us” overviews

• 📝 Customer account application forms

• 📕 PDF catalogs

• 🛠️ Warranty information

• ⚖️ Terms & conditions

You can upload Send Files in WebManager → Send Files.

✅ Allowed File Types

You can upload the following 14 file types:

📁 Create a Directory

A directory is a folder used to organise your files. While optional, directories are helpful for frontend users who need to navigate a large number of documents.
Example: A folder called Returns and Exchanges might include your return policy and exchange terms.

💡 Tip: Directories make it easier for reps to find the right files. Once uploaded, files can’t be moved to a new directory—you’ll need to re-upload if you want to relocate.

How to Create a Directory:

1. Log into WebManager

2. Click Send Files

3. Enter a Directory Name

4. Click Create Directory

If using a directory:

1. Click the directory

2. Click Choose Files

3. Click Upload File

If not using a directory:

1. Click Choose Files

2. Click Upload File

⚠️ Important Reminders

• 🚫 No special characters in file names (e.g., ; / ? # [ ] @ ! $ & ' ( ) * + , = { })

• 📦 Max file size: 100 MB

• ⏱️ It can take 15 min to 1 hour for files to appear on rep devices.

• 🔁 Reps may need to log out and back in on the app to see updates.

🔹 Note: Characters such as underscores and dashes are generally considered safe in most contexts.

✏️ Edit or Delete Files & Directories

To rename a file:

❌ Delete it → 📤 Re-upload with new name

To rename a directory:

❌ Delete it → ➕ Re-create it

To delete a directory:

1. Open the directory

2. Delete all files inside

3. Click Delete [Directory Name]

Send Files are available only on the RepZio iOS app (iPhone & iPad).

Reps must have an email account set up on their device to send files via email.

💬 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)

Q. Why are reps getting an error when opening a file?

A. If they see an error like:

• “Oops, we had trouble viewing this file. Please try again later.”
• “Server Error in '/' Application. Value cannot be null. Parameter name: fileStream”
• "StartIndex cannot be less than zero. Parameter name: starIndex

It’s likely due to invalid characters in the file name.

✅ Fix: Remove special characters from the file name and re-upload it.
