The “Open Carts” tool provides valuable insight into the orders your customers have started on your B2B Direct site. This tool will allow you take certain actions in regard to the orders, such as changing the order price level, deleting the order, and view the order details.
To access the tool, simply click on the “Open Carts” button on the left-hand side of your screen. Doing so will take you a screen similar to what you see below:
Let’s take a closer look at each of the columns:
Action does two things: first, it allows you to view the order details, such as what the customer currently has in their shopping cart. The cart can be deleted from here as well by clicking on "Delete Order" button. Second, Action allows you to change the price level for the order.
Start Date shows the date when the order was first created by the customer.
Customer tells you which customer created the order.
Customer Number shows the customer number for the customer that created the order.
Price Level shows the price level that is currently assigned to the customer.
Rep # displays which sales rep has been assigned to the customer.
Order Total shows the current dollar total for the order. This will adjust as the customer modifies their order.
Days Open describes how many days have passed since that order was first created.
Last Touch articulates how many days it’s been since the customer has last viewed their shopping cart.
Once you select an order, you will see a red bar appear at the bottom of your screen. This red bar will allow you to change the order price levels and/or delete orders.
