"Group Volume Pricing" will allow you to set up volume pricing discounts for a collection of products. For example: let's say your company sells soft drinks by the case. Your goal is to set up a volume pricing discount that is triggered by the customer ordering 10 or more cases of any combination of flavors, e.g. five vanilla and five cherry, 2 lemon-lime and 8 diet soda, etc.
Below are step-by-step instructions on how to set this up:
1. The first step is to set up the volume pricing for your individual products. This article covers how to create volume pricing for your products. Below is an example of a volume pricing spreadsheet:
2. The second step is to select one of the ItemIDs of the products to use as the "Group Code". This is the code RepZio will use to link the products together and create the volume pricing group. We will use SODA-DCOKE from the above screenshot as the group code.
Enter the group code in one of the empty UDF columns for each of the products in that group on your product template spreadsheet. You may choose any UDF column on your spreadsheet as long as it is completely empty before you enter the group code. UDF8 was chosen in the example below.
3. Sign into the WebManager and upload your product and volume pricing spreadsheets. You can learn more about uploading data by checking out this article.
Click on Settings > App Settings > Pricing Customization. Make sure the "Enable Volume Pricing" switch is green. Enter which UDF column you're using for the group code into the "Volume Pricing Group Column Name" field. Then click on the blue "Save Changes" button in the top-right corner of your screen. Click on the green "Push Data Live" button in the top-left corner of your screen.
4. Your volume price grouping is now active! Adding any combination of the products with the group code will trigger the volume pricing discount, as you can see in the screenshots below:
