Export Data is one of the most powerful tools available in WebManager. It allows you to quickly export a copy of your current data — either to create a backup before applying major changes, or to easily edit information outside of RepZio. Exported data can also be used to manually import information into your backend accounting software.
To access this feature:
-
Log into WebManager
-
Click on Manage Data
-
Select Export Data
-
Select the file you want to export
Export Options
Export Data is divided into three sections:
-
Product Data
-
Customers
-
Other
Each button corresponds to the type of data you wish to download. For example:
-
Clicking Export Products downloads your product data in the Import Product Template format.
-
Clicking Export Customers downloads your customer data in the Customer Import Template format.
-
Similarly, you can export other available data types as needed.
Some data types are also available to download as CSV files.
🔹 Note: Any information not yet pushed live will not be reflected in your data exports.
Common Use Case: Product Updates and Editing
A common way clients use this feature is for making bulk edits to their products. For example, if you need to update the pricing for an entire category of products, it’s faster to:
-
Export your product data.
-
Edit the exported spreadsheet.
-
Re-upload the modified spreadsheet to apply your changes.
⚠️ Important: Always save a copy of the original exported file before uploading your edits.
Saving a backup protects you in case of mistakes. If an error occurs, you can simply reload the original file and quickly identify and correct the issue, instead of starting from scratch.
Final Tips
-
-
Always back up your data before making major changes.
-
Double-check that you're editing the correct fields in your export templates.

❓FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)
Q. Do I really need to save a copy of my data as a backup before uploading new information? I’m only changing a couple of things.
A. Yes, it's always a good idea to save a backup in case anything unexpected happens.
Q. What happens if I try to export data that doesn’t exist?
(Example: I don’t have any child products in the system — what happens if I export child product data?)
A. A blank version of the Child Product Template will download. Don’t worry — you cannot break or harm your existing data by exporting it.
Q. I exported my product data and see a bunch of items listed as “TRUE” under the "IsDeleted" column. I thought I deleted these items?
A. Marking an item “TRUE” under the IsDeleted column performs a soft delete: the product remains in your account but cannot be displayed or ordered. We include these items in your exports for record-keeping and in case you want to reactivate them later.
Q. How do I identify if a customer originated from ShopZio?
A. When you export customer data, check the CustomerNumber field. If the Customer Number begins with "SZ-," it means the customer originated from ShopZio. For example:
-
SZ-216055
-
SZ-21625_merged_To_MOOTRE01
When you accept a new customer through ShopZio, the system automatically assigns the SZ- prefix. However, if you manually adjust the Customer Number later, there will be no way to tell the origin from the data export.
Q. Why do I get an error message when trying to export data?
A. Typically, if you receive a Cloudflare error or an "Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown" message, it means the system is timing out due to the size of the data being exported. This helps to protect all of our sellers from experiencing outages. Please email Support for further assistance.
Q. How do I export images?
A. Images cannot currently be exported from within WebManager. To export images, please email Support for further assistance.
