When a buyer submits an order with credit card info in the RepZio app, the card is authorised only—not charged. This means the card is validated and a hold is placed for the total amount, but no funds are collected until you take action.
When the order is ready to ship, follow these steps to charge the customer’s card in WebManager:
✅ Steps to Charge a Credit Card
1. Log into WebManager
2. Click Orders in the left-hand menu
3. Find and click the Order ID you'd like to charge
4. Make any final adjustments to the order
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the order page
6. Choose one of the following:
-
💳 Charge Card Ending in XXXX (to use the card on file)
-
➕ Add a New Card (if you need to charge a different card)
7. On the Charge Credit Card for Order screen:
-
✅ Select Authorize and Capture
-
💰 Confirm the Amount to Charge
-
📦 Update the Order Status if necessary
-
🟢 Click Charge Customer’s Credit Card
The payment will be processed and deposited into your account via your payment provider.
🔹Note: You can charge an amount less than the total dollar amount of the order (as a deposit), then go back later and charge the remainder when the order is ready to ship.
You have now successfully charged a customer's credit card through WebManager.
🔹Note: You can also charge credit cards in your credit card processor's web terminal.
