Ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer information is essential for smooth business operations. The Merge Customers feature consolidates multiple accounts into one while preserving order historyβstreamlining customer management with ease. β
There are two ways to merge customers:

π₯ Using the Merge Customer Template
β οΈ Important:The "Duplicates" count should always be 0. Occasionally, duplicates may appear. Before using either merge method, we recommend merging any duplicate customers first.
π₯οΈ Merge Customers in WebManager
Follow these steps to merge customers directly in WebManager.
Step 1
Go to Customers > Merge Customers.
The page has two panels:

β¬ οΈ Merge Selected Customers Into β
Select one or more customer records to merge into the final customer. -
π This Customer
This is the record that will remain after the merge.
Step 2
From the left panel, select the customers to merge into the customer on the right.
Step 3
Click π’ Merge Selected Customers.
Step 4
On the customer details screen, review or update any info, then click πΎ Save Customer.
πΉ Note: Merging customers is permanent and cannot be undone. Double-check your selections before continuing.
Step 5
Click π€ Push Data Live.
After pushing data live:

π Reps must delete any open carts linked to the old customer(s)

ποΈ Recreate the carts under the new customer

π Log out and log back in to see the updates
π Merge Customers Using the Template
Use this method if you need to merge multiple customers at once.
Step 1
Gather the customer numbers for each customer to be merged.
Step 2
Open the Import Customer Merge template and enter:

Original Customer Number β Customer(s) to be merged
-
New Customer Number β The record that will remain
Step 3
Go to WebManager > Manage Data > Upload Data Sheets, and select Customer Merge in the dropdown.
Step 4
Upload your completed file.
Step 5
Review the customer numbers on the Preview Data screen, then click π My Data Looks Good.
πΉ Note: Merging customers is permanent. Review everything carefully before continuing.
Step 6
Click π€ Push Data Live, then:
