Customers are important to a brand and their success. However, some customers are not a great fit for a brand for a variety of reasons. In this article, we'll help you remove access to a buyer from the platform—whether your decision or at the request from a buyer.
If a buyer has requested access, but you have not yet approved their access and want to completely remove them as a lead, take the following steps to remove the buyer.
Steps to Remove a Lead
- Click the trash can icon under Actions on the Dashboard tab to fully delete the lead. Once this is done, it cannot be undone.
- Declining and Deleting a Lead are two different things: Decline will move the lead to your "Declined" bucket, vs deleting will completely remove the lead altogether.
Steps to Deactivate a Site User
Please note - to remove your brand from a buyer's page completely, you will first need to deactivate the rep through the below process and then remove them as a lead (follow the steps above to delete the lead - declining won't remove the brand completely - you will need to click the trash can icon to delete).
- Click the trash can icon under Actions on the on the Site Users tab to revoke access. This will remove access to your brand. Once you remove access to the brand, to delete the customer completely, follow the steps above and go back to Dashboard > Leads > to delete.
