Cube Size Configuration
To set the cube size, reps will need to enter a value within the app. By default, the app is set to 2100 but the amount can be overridden on the app and is not available to be controlled via WebManager. Once set, the cube size will remain the same until changed again. If you have cube numbers, the system will use these to calculate against the cube size in the iPad App and subtract that value when an item is added to a container order. For example, a standard 20’ container typically holds 33 cubic meters or approximately 108 cubic feet.
In the upper right-hand corner of the app, there is a cube size box in the container order section.
Select the container icon on the customer's home page and start adding items to the container by tapping on the item. Check the container’s fullness by referencing the percentage in the upper right-hand corner. The container will continue to fill beyond 100%.
Headers used in the configuration of Containers:
- Cubes
- Source
- ContainerMinQty
Additional Fields for the Container Function
- Cubes: Adds the volume of the item. Must be numeric.
- Source: Used for multiple factory locations. When selected, only products from that source will be shown, as containers cannot be filled from multiple factories.
- ContainerMinQty: Overrides the OrderMinimumQuantity in the container section. If set, this will be the number of units added to the order from within the container function.
Container Setup
The RepZio application supports the utilization of a container to help you and your customer know when the container is at maximum capacity. Populate the following three columns for this feature to work properly:
- Cubes: Specifies the amount of space each item occupies in the container. Keep the unit of measure consistent across your entire product base.
- ContainerMinQty: Determines the quantity of product added to your container in the container program. Each time you add a product, it will add the container’s specified minimum quantity to the order.
- Source: Allows filtering of products by source, enabling you to populate a container by the factory. This can represent a geographic source, warehouse origin, or bin location.
Using the Container Feature
- Populate all three fields (Cubes, ContainerMinQty, and Source) with the required information.
- Navigate to the container button within your customer’s unique interface.
- Select a source and a price level.
- Add products to your container by selecting them from the list or scanning them.
