Tags allow you to create custom product groupings that can be showcased to clients. Common use cases include highlighting clearance items, holiday promotions, trade show exclusives, or upcoming releases. Sales reps can also create their own tags within the RepZio iOS App.

Tags can be created manually in WebManager or in bulk using the Import Tags Template.

 

🔧 Accessing Tag Management Tools

Log into WebManager and navigate to:

WebManager > Products > Manage Tags

You’ll find four key areas for tag management:

  • Manage Tags

  • Arrange Tags

  • Quick Edit Tags

  • Quick Edit Tag Items

 

🆕 Create a Tag in WebManager

To create a new tag:

  1. Go to WebManager > Products > Manage Tags > Create New Tag

  2. Enter a unique tag name

  3. Set the Tag Order (numerical only, starting from 1)

    • This controls the tag’s display order

  4. Choose a Display On value: All, B2B, or iPad

    • We recommend selecting All

  5. (Optional) Add a Description

  6. Enter at least one valid ItemID to associate a product with the tag

    • This ItemID must exactly match a product in your catalog

    • You can remove or add more products later using the Add Products dropdown

 

🔁 Merge Tags

To merge multiple tags into one:

  1. Click Merge Tags

  2. Select the tags you'd like to merge

  3. Click Merge Tags again to confirm

 

✏️ Rename a Tag

  1. Select the tag you want to rename

  2. Click Rename This Tag

  3. Enter the new tag name

  4. Click Rename Tag to save your changes

 

🗑️ Delete a Tag

  1. Select the tag you wish to remove

  2. Click Delete Tag

  3. Confirm the deletion in the pop-up window

🔹 Note: This action is irreversible.

 

📋 Arrange Tags

  1. Click Arrange Tags from the side panel

  2. Drag and drop tags into your desired order

  3. Click Save Tags Order

⚡ Quick Edit Tags

Quick Edit Tags allows you to view and manage tags in a spreadsheet-style interface—perfect for bulk edits.

How to Access

Step 1: Log into WebManager

Step 2: Click on Products

Step 3: Select Quick Edit Tags

What You Can Do

  • Enable or disable tags

  • Update tag name, order, display settings, and descriptions

  • Edit fields directly in a table that matches the Tags Template format

 

Making Edits

  • Click into any editable cell to make changes

  • Edited cells will show a red triangle in the corner

💾 Click the red Save Changes button when done
🚀 Then click Push Data Live to update the app

 

🔍 Quick Edit Tag Items

Use Quick Edit Tag Items to manage individual products within tags.

How to Access:

Step 1: Log into WebManager

Step 2: Click on Products

Step 3: Select Quick Edit Tag Items

View/Edit the Following Fields

 

✏️ Making Edits

  • Click into any editable cell

  • A red triangle appears in edited cells

  • A red Save Changes button will appear

💾 Click Save Changes
🚀 Click Push Data Live

 

📥 Tags Template Overview

The Import Tags Template allows for bulk creation or updates via spreadsheet.

Supported formats: .XLS or .TXT (Tab Delimited)

Template Fields

Field Description
Tag Name Click to rename your tag
Tag Order Controls tag display order
Display On Choose where the tag appears: iPad, B2B, or All
IsDeleted False = Active, True = Inactive
Description Add a brief explanation of the tag's purpose
Photo Name Photo file name

 

💡 Pro Tips for Tag Management

  • Use consistent naming (e.g., SALE_Spring25, Market_July2025)

  • Group tags by season or event for better organization

  • Use Quick Edit or the spreadsheet for editing more than 5 tags at once

⚠️ Important

  • Do not use the following characters in tag names: &, #, |, /

  • Display On must be set — we recommend All

  • Tag Order values must be whole numbers (e.g., 1, 2, 3)

Q. How can I manage tags?

A. No. You can create unlimited tags, and each tag can include any number of products.

A. Open the tag, then double-click the product to remove it.
