The Templates Settings ๐ง section in WebManager offers powerful tools to customise how product data appears throughout the RepZio iOS App. You can access this feature by navigating to WebManager โ Settings โ Templates.
ย
๐ Where to Access the Templates Section
To access Templates:
Log into WebManager
Click on the Settings tab
Scroll to the Templates section
This is where youโll control how product details are displayed across our various platforms.ย
ย
๐ How This Page Works
When you open the Templates page, you'll see:
-
Buttons โ These represent predefined product data fields (e.g.,
ItemID,ItemName,OnHandQuantity, etc.) - Text fields โ Each one corresponds to a specific panel or screen in the RepZio App
You can populate the fields in two ways:
-
Drag and drop an orange button into a text field (it will auto-wrap in
{{ }}) -
Manually type the variable with mustache brackets, e.g.,
{{ItemID}}
ย

Why do the Titles not need the mustache brackets {{ }}? These areas are titles and you are not pulling data into the titles; therefore, you do not need to and would not use the mustache brackets {{ }} for titles.ย ย ๐น Note: In the product details tab for the product display pages, price is automatically setup to display. If you select a client first, you will see the actual price. If you go through Browse, you will see $0.00 instead. This doesย notย mean that the price is $0.00, but it should indicate that a client or price level has not yet been selected. ๐น Note: The Child Items and Volume Pricing tabs willย onlyย appear on items with those setup in the system. Additionally, by default theย Child Items Tab Title will be set toย Child Items but can be updated here, as can the title for Volume Pricing. |

๐ฌ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)
Q. Can I preview how these templates look on the iPad before publishing?
A. While there's no live preview inside WebManager, you can sync your changes and open the RepZio App to see how they appear in real time.
Q. What happens if I leave a template field blank?
A. If left blank, that section will not display any information in the app. It's safe to leave optional fields empty if the data isnโt relevant.
Q. Can I use multiple data variables in a single field?
A. Yes, you can combine multiple variables like {{ItemName}} - {{ItemID}} in the same field to display richer product info.
Q. Is HTML supported in all template fields?
A. No, HTML is only supported in specific fields like Info Tab Template 1 and 2. Using HTML elsewhere may cause display issues.
Q. What do the orange buttons represent?
A. Each orange button is a pre-defined data variable (like ItemID, ItemName, etc.) that you can drag into the fields to easily add dynamic product info.
The "Templates" section offers a variety of powerful tools that allow you to change how your product data is displayed within the RepZio App. The Templates section can be found within the WebManager under the โSettingsโ tab.
Q. Why do I not see the data in the app?
A. Some fields, such as UDF fields, require starter text to display in the app. For example, if you use the UDF3 field for garment washing instructions, you must add starter text in the Templates section, as shown below:
Care Instructions: {{UDF3}}
Adding starter text ensures front-end users can see both the data and understand what it represents.
